To promote the importance of providing basic emergency preparedness information to the maximum number of people possible and to help expand the number of those with basic life-saving skills.

Don Mountz - American Red Cross instructor of over 20 years and was with the American Red Cross for 13 years and was Director of Sales for Health and Safety department. Is an Instructor and/or Instructor Trainer for American Red Cross and American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, Bloodborne Pathogens and most aquatics programs.

Who We Are

Joel Swetin - Over 15 years in safety and safety training. Was with the American Red Cross for over five years. Instructor/Instructor Trainer for American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED, Bloodborne Pathogens programs. Regional Manager for the National Safety Council for almost six years and was a Safety Coordinator for Waste Management. Advanced Safety Certificate – National Safety Council

For All Training

Our goal is to ensure that every participant will leave the training with an understanding the material and feeling confident in their ability to perform any skills learned.

Ø Safety Training Associates limits instructor/participant ratio to enable the instructors to provide

appropriate individual instruction when necessary.

Ø We are extremely flexible and have a short lead-time for scheduling and service delivery.

Ø Safety Training Associates offers training 24/7, many programs available in English and Spanish.

Ø We use the latest up-to-date adult training methods for maximum impact and information

retention.

Ø Prices include all participant materials.

Ø Participants successfully completing written and practical skills leave with Certification Cards.

Ø Written completion test may be administered orally.

CPR/First Aid/AED Training

Ø We provide a manikin to every participant. In addition to any health concerns this ensures that

everyone will have the maximum possible practice time for learning skills.

Ø For AED training we provide one AED trainer for every two participants.

Ø First Aid and CPR training is OSHA recognized.

Ø Standardized curriculum

Ø We give specific training for the AED equipment at your facility.

Ø For CPR/FA/AED training every participant will leave the class with their participant booklet and

a full color skills card with detailed visuals for review that provides easy-to-follow instructions at

a glance. One skills card for Adult CPR/AED, one skills card for Child CPR/AED and one for First

Aid.
